Steven Gong is 12 years old. He joined the Piano Class of Dr. Victor Shevtsov in May 2009. In the following August Steven took his Grade 10 Piano RCM examination and passed it with First Class Honor with Distinction and got the Trophy for the Highest Mark in grade 10 category. One and half year later Steven passed his ARCT exam and also received First Class Honor with Distinction Mark and a BCRMTA Trophy for the highest mark

Steven Gong is a very talented young pianist with a great love and dedication to music and a big promise for future music accomplishments. His achievements are already very impressive: lots of Prizes in Richmond Music Festival, Kiwanis Music Festival and Vancouver Festival of Russian Music.

Steven participated in Young Stars Festival 2010 and is going to perform in the coming Young Stars Festival 2011 in Richmond Gateway Theatre.
