Rachel Ding is seven years old. She began her piano studies at the age of five with
Dr. Tanya Shevtsova and after one year of studies made an amazing progress.
Rachel was a provincial finalist of
CMC 2008 and CMC 2009.
She received several awards in the Kiwanis Musical Festival 2008 and made
her concert debut in the
Young Stars Festival 2008.
Rachel is First Prize winner of the Kiwanis 2009 (two classes) and First Prize and a Scholarship winner of the Russian Music Festival 2009.
In 2009 Rachel participated in both - Young Stars Festival 2009 and in the Wonder Child Concert 2009 where she performed a Concerto-Variations by Tanya Shevtsova.
